15 Dec Garlic Lemon Roasted Brussels Sprouts

What you need

1 lb Brussels sprouts (washed, ends removed, halved)
2-3 cloves of garlic (minced)
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
dash salt and pepper

Serves 4

 

What you do

  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • In a bowl toss sprouts with garlic, oil, and lemon juice. Spread on a baking tray and season with salt and pepper
  • Bake for about 15 minutes. Toss again and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve and Enjoy!

 

TIP: Brussel sprouts contain the fat-soluble bone-loving vitamin K. You may want to eat them more often.

    Sharlene,
    I love getting your messages about staying healthy. You truly care about your clients current or former. Every once in a while something resonates with me and is quite helpful. I love brussel sprouts ; but, they are so gassy I forget to have them more often.
    But, I will try to add them more often into my diet.
